John 3:16

VERSE FOR THE DAY:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

GOD LOVES US THAT HE GAVE US OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, TO BELIEVE IN AND
HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

FURTHER EXPLANATION OF THIS MYSTERY LIES IN THIS VERSE:

This is how God showed his love among us:
He sent his one and only Son into the world
that we might live through him.

This is love: not that we loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son
as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Dear friends, since God so loved us,
we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:9-11

GOD'S LOVE IS SHOWN THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST...
THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WE ARE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO LIVE ETERNALLY.

THROUGH SENDING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,
THE SACRIFICE HAS BEEN MADE TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS.

THROUGH THIS LOVE, WE HAVE THE CHANCE FOR LIFE ETERNAL.

AS GOD HAS SHOWN HIS LOVE TO US, IT IS THEREFORE
RIGHTEOUS THAT WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

ANOTHER BIBLE VERSE TELLS ABOUT GOD AND LOVE:

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:16

AS CHRISTIANS, IT IS A CHALLENGE FOR US TO LIVE IN LOVE EVERYDAY OF
OUR LIFE. THE LOVE WE OUGHT TO SHOW IS THE LOVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
HAS SHOWN TO US. AS IT IS WRITTEN:

My command is this:
Love each other as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:12-13

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US,
FOR HIS LOVE FOR US, SO THAT OUR SINS MAY BE FORGIVEN,
THAT WE MAY HAVE THE CHANCE TO ETERNAL LIFE.

THERE ARE 2 COMMANDMENTS THAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW:

Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Matthew 22:37-39

HOW IS LOVE DEFINED IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES?

Love is patient,
love is kind.

It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.

It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.

Love never fails. . .

And now these three remain:
faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

- excerpts from 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

THESE IS THE QUALITY OF LOVE THAT IS ASKED OF US...

THIS LOVE STARTS WITH GOD LOVING US, THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST LAY
DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US TO BE ATONED FOR OUR SINS.

THEREFORE, BY LOVING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND BE UNITED WITH HIM,
ONE STARTS LIVING IN FAITH WITH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST:

I have been crucified with Christ
and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me.

The life I live in the body,
I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

HOPE THE LESSONS FOR THE DAY HELP US KNOW GOD BETTER,
THAT WE MAY BE ENCOURAGED TO LIVE OUR LIFE IN LOVE.
